How We Make Money

Builder Tools has a free tier — 5 everyday tools you can use without an account — and a Pro subscription (£9/month) that unlocks every tool, cloud-saved quotes and invoices, and AI documents. On top of that, some of our pages contain affiliate links to third-party retailers and suppliers, which help keep the free tier free.

What Are Affiliate Links?

When you use a tracked affiliate link or code and make an eligible purchase, we may earn a small commission. Affiliate networks such as Awin can use cookies or other identifiers to attribute the referral. This costs you nothing extra — you pay the same price whether you use our tracked link or visit the retailer directly.

Where You'll Find Affiliate Links

• Partners page: Our trade partners page lists our affiliate programme relationships and selected featured partners. Tracked links and non-commission partners are labelled separately.
• Calculator tool pages: Some calculators include "Order Materials" or "Buy Online" links to relevant suppliers. Where a link may earn us a commission, it is treated and disclosed as an affiliate link.
• Blog posts: Occasionally, blog articles may link to products or services that are relevant to the topic. These may be affiliate links.
