How to use the Gastite Natural Gas Table Lookup

1. Confirm the section is Gastite CSST carrying natural gas at the exact Table 9.1 inlet-pressure, pressure-differential and orientation conditions.
2. Have a competent Gas Safe engineer establish the simultaneous maximum gas flow carried by this individual section.
3. Enter that flow in cubic metres per hour and the straight horizontal section length.
4. The lookup uses the next longer published column without interpolation and returns the first Gastite row with sufficient table capacity.
5. Complete the full network design, pressure allocation, testing, purging and commissioning before installation is accepted.

Why use this tool

• Uses all published columns from Gastite Table 9.1 without invented interpolation or pressure scaling.
• Rounds non-tabulated lengths conservatively and fails closed outside the source table.
• Explicitly excludes copper, steel, LPG and other manufacturers' CSST systems.

This is one product-table lookup, not a gas-network calculator. It does not convert appliance heat input, allocate pressure loss through branches, size meters or regulators, account for every fitting or vertical effect, or approve a route. Only a Gas Safe registered engineer competent for the work may design, install and commission the system. The engineer must use the current Gastite guide and applicable regulations and standards, keep components within the manufacturer's system, verify appliance inlet pressure at simultaneous maximum demand, and complete the required strength, tightness, purging and commissioning procedures.
