Calculate stone, bricks, blocks, and mortar needed for walls. Supports stone walling, standard UK brick and block sizes.
Masonry estimation is straightforward once you know the rate per square metre, but it catches people out when they forget to deduct openings or account for wastage from cuts. A standard UK brick (215 x 102.5 x 65mm with 10mm joints) works out at roughly 60 bricks per square metre for a half-brick wall. This calculator applies the correct rates for bricks, blocks, and natural stone, and adds mortar quantities based on joint thickness and wall type.
