Track regular and irregular-hours leave using real work patterns, leave-year boundaries and transparent bank-holiday treatment.
How to use the Holiday & Leave Tracker
Add each worker and choose a regular weekly pattern or irregular/part-year arrangement.
Set the leave-year start, real working days and contractual entitlement, or enter actual hours worked for accrual.
Record annual leave and sickness inside the current leave year, splitting bookings at a leave-year boundary.
Enter only company closure or bank-holiday days that the contract actually deducts, so they are not counted twice.
Why use this tool
Uses each regular worker's actual weekly pattern instead of assuming Monday to Friday.
Calculates the 5.6-week regular-worker minimum with the 28-day statutory cap.
Supports the 12.07% actual-hours accrual method for irregular-hours and part-year workers.
Prevents a booking from silently crossing into a different leave year.
Almost all workers are entitled to 5.6 weeks of paid leave, but the calculation and pay treatment depend on the working arrangement and contract. Bank holidays can form part of statutory leave and dates differ across the UK, so this tracker never assumes that every bank holiday is additional. Family leave, sick-leave accrual, carry-over and holiday pay can require extra payroll or employment-law checks.
